Shivapuri Hill Hiking

1 Day

Overview

Shivapuri is the second most elevated slope in Kathmandu valley after Pulchwoki slope and is one of the nearest public parks to the Kathmandu valley. In the wake of eating at your inn, we drive for around 20 minutes to Budhanilakantha and begin climbing through the Shivapuri preservation region. En route, we will spot natural life and lavish vegetation. We will visit Nagi gomba which is a religious community for nuns and in some cases outsiders. After this religious community, we will climb around two hours uphill rising to the highest point of Shivapuri slope which gives the best perspectives on this climb. Coming back, we follow the alternate way course downhill to Kopan Religious community
