The major clans inhabiting the lower elevation areas in the Annapurna Circuit are Magar and Gurungs while Bhotias, Mananges and Thakalis live in the higher altitudes. All of the tribes follow Buddhism and have different culture with different costumes, songs and traditions.

Thengboche Monastary is one among the many Buddhist Monastaries in the Annapurna region that trekkers will come across. People from all over the country swarm in to visit this ancient temple below the mighty Himalayas. 1225 species of plants, 103 species of mammals, 473 species of birds and various other mountain reptiles and amphibians inhibit the landscape.

Please be advised that your guide/team leader has the authority to cancel or change any part of the itinerary if the situation calls for it. There are many things that cannot be predicted during a trip. Since we will be travelling at higher altitudes than you are used to, weather conditions, health of a trip member, unexpected natural phenomenons might require us to change the plans for safety’s sake. The team leader/guide will try to make sure that the trip will follow the itinerary, but please make up your mind beforehand that you might have to be flexible if deemed necessary.
